Mac Keyboard Adjust For Windows

Posted on  by

But what if you want to change the default keyboard shortcuts that Windows 10 has foisted on you, such as getting Win + S to open your own Search tool instead of the Windows one or to reassign shortcuts to reflect how they work on Mac or Linux? Well, things get a little more complicated at that point but are still perfectly doable. Match the keyboard on the screen with the physical keyboard to make sure that the layout matches. To check the uppercase characters, click the shift key on the keyboard or on the screen, and match the characters printed on the keyboard. Click Start, type osk in the Run box, and then press ENTER. TIP: You can select and add multiple layouts for the same language at the same time, by holding down the Command (⌘) key, and clicking on the name of the keyboard layouts that you want to add. Switch between keyboard languages and layouts using the menu bar. After adding the keyboard layout of your choice, you are returned to the Input Sources tab in the Keyboard window.
